Anyone know how to remove an MR2 Mk3 rear bumper?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone can tell me how the rear bumper of an MR2 Roadster fits onto the car. Some pleasant soul clipped the right rear quarter of my bumper last night in a supermarket car park and then drove off.
Didn’t notice it until this morning when I was on my way to work, its not major damage mainly scratches (that I hope will polish out) and the trailing edge of the bumper where it meets the rear wheel arch is no longer flush with the body work.
From what I could see from a brief look this morning it appears that there is some sort of lug in the very end of the bumper that should keep it in position but this lug has snapped off so that it is still in the bumper (if that makes sense).
Does anyone know exactly how these bumpers fit to the car and if they can be easily adjusted?
