Vanilla WRX vs STi

May go and look at a ver 6 STi estate tomorrow.

How do I know that it is a real STi and not a WRX dressed up?

Also does the estate differ from the 4 or 2 door other than the obvious differences?

Check the code on the plate against this list.

V6 STi estate should be GF8G5ED.

Friend of mine had a V4 STi estate. Was obscenely fast for a wagon

Well I had a look and was impressed. Totally stock but seemed very clean and seemingly unabused.

So I paid a deposit and will pick it up next week.

Looking fwd to owning an STi. Can't wait!
