350Z DIY Rear Discs & Pads (Brembo)
Discussion
The Z needs new rear discs and pads, which I will DIY. I've changed loads of pads on other cars, and it's usually a doddle. As far as I can see, changing the discs too shouldn't be difficult.
Has anyone done this? I can find a step-by-step for the non-Brembo equipped model here but not for this one. Some cars have gotchas - often the mechanism for adjusting the hand brake is not obvious. Anything like that?

Thanks Anubis - the pads are very straightforward, no need for special tools to wind the pistons back, etc. As far as I can tell, disc replacement is a simple matter of undoing the caliper mounting bolts, moving the caliper aside and replacing the disc. Unfortunately, the bolts are seized solid, so I am going to have to get a backstreet garage to crack them before I can complete the job - had to reassemble with old pads until tomorrow.
Just to finish this off - I got a local garage to crack the caliper retaining bolts for me (nice bloke, wouldn't take a penny for it either) and then it was all pretty straightforward and obvious. The only tricky bit is that the hand brake operates via brake shoes inside the bell of the disc, which have to be adjusted through a hole in the disc. Didn't get that exactly right, and the handbrake now needs adjusting, but otherwise sorted.
