Celica Gen 7 , T-Bar - possible...?

Hi Guys

So, what would be the issues in modifying a Gen 7 Celica to feature a T-Bar roof? Would the cost involved make it impractical (i.e. make the car so expensive it would be in competition with another class of car...)

Would be an ideal car for me - would like the security of the T-Bar (when compared to a complete soft top) combined with open air 2+2 seating (child on the way).

Very financially impractical. Just get a well looked after Supra T-Bar. Would cost you much less and has space in the back for a kiddie. It will also lose the cars rigidity.

Yep - the supra is on the list of possibilities...

TBH a Supra would be a lot better as you wouldn't have to modify it. That's what I'd go for if looking for a T-Bar with rear seating anyway.
