Just thought that this might be helpful. My insurance was due for renewal this month, i was gob smacked when I was given a figure of £2K from A plan my current insurers. I phoned around and couldn't get it under £1600 which was Adrian Flux. My m8 suggested Admiral multi car policy which I phoned they quoted me £880 for the GTR and quoted me £500 cheaper for my wife's x5 and £200 on my Audi. No need to add the cars on untill the renewals are due. Hope this might help some of you fellow GTR owners!

That's fine until something goes wrong(which may not necessarily be your fault) and you actually want them to payout.
Admiral are a real nightmare if you have major claim.
Disagree actually. My wife just had a claim, someone hit the back of her, and they sorted everything out quickly. Fixed car, gave a hire car, Only downside is its going to take ages to claim for her injury, but thats because it was some Irish idiot in a truck that hit her, and because he is not from the UK its going to take a while. All UK insurances would be the same for this.Admiral are a real nightmare if you have major claim.
However, I do still think they are rubbish, but for other reasons.
First and worst of all the staff are all in Indian call centres and are very annoying as they cant understand you.
Second, they have this stipid policy of automatically renewing the next year from your Visa. Ive just put a stop to that.
The only reason I am with them is multicar but now i have sold one i am off else where to an British call centred company.

Well in my case it took me 6 months, and the decision of the Financial Ombudsman just for them to agree the value of my car. All that $hit from them when my P&J was smashed up because some old fart wanted to pull out in front of me without looking.
Despite all the evidence I sent them and phone calls and letters, they were only interested in their valuation so they left me with little option. They kept trying to sway me towards their valuation and at one point I even had their approved repairer telling me I could not remove 'my' car until Admiral said I could
Learnt my lesson hard and now only go with an agreed value policy and an insurer who actually knows a thing or two about the cars they are insuring.
