Mazda 2 servicing help
Discussion
I've volunteered to help my younger brother to service his new (to him) Mazda 2 and I'm trying to find out the correct torque settings for the sump drain bolt and the spark plugs. I've tried google but it didn't yeild any useful results.
I'd be grateful if anyone could let me know what the correct settings should be, or event better if someone could e-mail me a copy of a service manual, or a link to one.
The car in question is a 2006 Mazda 2, 1.4 petrol.
Thanks.

People torque these things up?
Spark Plugs - Hand tight then a touch more, 1/8 turn maybe.
Sump Plug - Quite tight, or "nipped right up".
And heat the copper washer for the sump plug red hot in a blowtorch.Spark Plugs - Hand tight then a touch more, 1/8 turn maybe.

t.Let's see; 3 new post today, 3 yesterday, another 3 on Wednesday and 3 again on Monday. Sunday was a very busy day, racking up a marathon of 4 posts, making up for Saturday's poor effort of only a single post.
Now remind me again why I haven't worked out where to post questions about cars and stuff?
