Hi Guys,

Bit of a lurker on this forum, but wanted to say hi and ask a bit of advice. smile

I've a 51 plate Bug-eye WRX saloon that seems to misfire when making quick changes. Not a problem on motorway or with more 'leisurely' driving, but when going for a bit of a blast and squirting the throttle a bit more urgently coming out of a bend, the engine misses - although only once. Seems occasionally to do it at low speed when pulling away from a junction, too. Never noticed it at any other time though. Suffice to say, it's starting to get a bit irritating.

I took it to the indy that looks after it and he checked to see if it had thrown up any fault codes. It hadn't, and he couldn't get to the bottom of it - he thought it might be a 'fueling issue' as it only happens once and then clears, and to 'bring it back when it gets worse'.

I don't really have the cash to take it to a dealer and let them spend ages investigating - plus Cheam Subaru, my local, has just closed.

If anyone's got any ideas as to what it could be, it'd be massively appreciated smile.

Roland
