my 94 wrx wont start it doesnt even turn over its not the battery the green light in the fob doesnt come on like normal when pressing the imobiliser button with keys in ignition and a slight burning smell from engine bay

Do you have a spare key/immobilizer? The battery might of died in the key/immobilizer
