just bought a 350z

Hi , just an introduction I just bought a 55 plate 350z (haven't really driven it yet as still being serviced and delivered thurday, time is going really slow...). It's done 24k miles so in good nick except the gear knob which has seen much better days and let's the rest of the interior down - think it's been swapped with a high mileage car at some point), hence I'm looking for a minty fresh one (grey) if anyone can help it would be much appreciated!

The gearknobs do wear quickly in a Zed, I had a similar mileage car and the knob was a little worn. Can only assume that whoever owned the car last like to drive around with their hand on the knob.

Loads of people of replaced them with aftermarket items and the nismo one is a popular but expensive swap.

Thanks - I tried joining 350z-uk but I never got the registration confirmation email despite re-requesting it several times. It say to contact an administrator, but there's no way of doing that unless you're logged on - catch 22 (and yes, I checked my junk mail too).

As for the knob, I'm an OEM type, so looking for the original item!

There are loads of different shifter knobs - I have a carbon Nismo on mine and feels better than the OEM.

Have just done a quick search and one of the member traders (zmanalex) does a lot of business through the website and gets good feedback - although I've never used him. He's recently replied to someone else asking the same thing and was selling a used gearknob for £45.
