Subaru bills are epic. Just a pair of brakes was something like £250 on my old one

Not a good idea to only change 1 either. I'd go to a reputable specialist Impreza breakers and get a pair or bite the bullet and buy a coilover setup for around the £600 - £800 price.

Same as my 55 plate WRX.
Known problem with sticky shocks yet its the only one that KYB don't sell shocks for hence the stupid price from Subaru.

If you find an alternative please let me know.

Spend a bit extra rather than buy cheap and nasty coilovers that will give you a rough ride and may not even last as long as your OEM shocks.

Get yourself a pair of Bilsteins dampers with Eibach springs. They're designed spcifically for UK roads, will maintain some compliancy so the ride remains almost like OEM, and they'll transform the handling bigtime.

Triton Motorsport at Bournemouth Airport suggested a range of options for my '05 Blobeye WRX PPP . . . can't remember the details but they were considerably cheaper than Subaru and improved the handling!

Thanks for the replys guys, I'll try & suggest a few options to him but he's pretty set in his ways. e,g, he's convinced Smart Cars made my TVR!!! won't have it any other way. hehe
