Hi folks as the heading states im thinking of buying a gtir to use as a toy/fun car looking at the ph ads there is some on there im setting my self a budget of £1500 i know im not going to get a mint show car for that,but hoping for a 1/2 decent one can anyone extract the cash from my hands ?
or do i buy a trackday mx5 again ??

GTIRs are awesome little cars but most examples have had hard lives.

You will only find a shed for that much, probably end up costing u an arm and a leg trying to get it upto standard.
They are not cheap cars to mantain and dont like abuse..

U would be better off with a non turbo car, such as a bmw 325i/328i or a 2.0 almera/sunny/primera gt.
If it has to be a 2.0 turbo 4x4, id rather go for an early wrx subaru impreza, parts are plenty and cheap. Quite reliable too.. your more likely to find a cheap subaru in decent nick then a gtir as they are still relatively rare and more appreciated classis.
