Subaru forrester XT - disable front passenger airbag

Want to know if the above is possible, theres no switch on the car to disable it, just wondered if there was a way with a fuse or the snip of a cable?

Any info gratefully received.

I believe this is possible by substituting the air bag in the circuit with some sort of resistor to fool the ECU that all is normal so it won`t illuminate the warning lamp. Companies who fit stuff like swivel seats (Elap Engineering) for disabled people do this when removing seats with airbags. Your insurance co won`t like it though. HTH.
