Civic Type R - horrible red seats! Swap to black?

I fancy an EP3 Type R next.

However some of the lovely low mileage examples I've seen have those horrid red seats. Is it possible to swap them for all black ones somehow? What would the options be? Perhaps having them recovered, dyed, sold off? Would anyone be interested in a swop?

If the seats in the car you get are good condition you'd be best to keep them as they are & get hold of some other seats

Honda breakers & eBay should be a good place to look

You may even find some tatty seats you can get re-trimed

Or you could get some aftermarket seats from Corbeau, Cobra etc.

The plus point to aftermarket seat is you can get frames to make them fit almost any car, so you could keep hold of them for your next car

Thanks, good idea. Those plain black leather ones look lovely. Perhaps a pair of those and a rear seat re-trim to match.

The earlyer 03 and before had grey instead of red. Also the Premier edition had black and red Recaro buckets which were very nice.
