Nissan 350Z and an Iphone 3GS
Discussion
This is on behalf of a colleague who is struggling to find any info on this.
He would like to integrate his iphone with the standard bose stereo in his 2004 350Z principally to use handsfree but ideally also to play music from.
What do you think is the best way for him to achieve this?

Covered a load of times over on 350z-uk.com. however you can get a bluetooth module for the handsfree (sits in the cubby hole in the centre arm rest, might already be one there?) but there is no easy way to get music to play, fm transmitter or tape deck convertors seem to be most popular
I asked exactly the same question when I bought my car and was told me the parts/service desk that I shouldn't bother: it's perfectly possible to get the bluetooth thing (which fits in the centre cubbyhole), but the software is quite old and basic and does not always work as well as it should, dropping out, etc.
Given the historical problems with the Bose stereo unit skipping etc (I even had mine replaced as a condition of sale), I decided to keep some money in the bank to buy a better stereo as and when mine goes kaput!
