Im confused the duke dvd about skylines which quotes the 1200 horse gold r33 from topsecret as cracking 200mph in 24 seconds. Then we have top gear which quotes the jun lemon liner with 1000 horse also a 33 i think as hitting 190 mph in 12 secondsyikes can anybody shed some light on this argue

What exactly are we supposed to be comparing? What claims are being made?

1,000 bhp Evos will hit around 165 mph in 8.5 seconds, so I would imagine it's not unreasonably to expect a 1,000 bhp Skyline to hit 190 mph in 12 seconds, so long as it's geared highly enough.

I doubt it would take the same Skyline another 12 seconds to go from 190 mph to 200 mph though.

The Top Secret car performed differently in Japan to the tune over here , many parts have been changed over the years i guess as the owner doesnt own a tuning company and cant throw money around like its going out of fashion

+1

The running and development costs on a car like that would be huge!.

Didn't Harlow Jap Autos have the Top Secret car up for sale not so long ago?

Iirc it was just over £23k, very much doubt it was anything like how it was when Smokey Nagata had it.
