GTR Practicality & Noise
Discussion
I'm debating making the move to a GT-R. I always enjoyed raw performance from the TVR I used to have, but was killed by the day to day reality of living with it so I left performance cars behind for a few years and I've languished in BMWs and Mercs. The other week I test drove an 08 GTR (they wouldn't let me test a brand new one) and it had been modified with a Y Pipe and having had the middle cat removed - made a beautiful noise but I'm sure the novelty would have worn off after a 200 mile motorway trip!. Can anyone tell me if a standard car is easy to live with from a noise perspective - by that I mean can you drive 100 miles and not be bleeding from the ears - can you actually use the blue tooth phone or are you just screaming at the windscreen....

The GT-R is a GT car and was built for long high speed cross-country blasts. The performance is just another bonus.
Lol, which countries....France maybe, didn't fare too well for us in Italy or Greece, the only bonus was that using that car made my other half stop complaining about the ride my Evo.Heaveho said:
