2004 Forester XT - it only has 177 BHP. Is that correct?

There's one of these for sale near me. pretty cheap and I'm looking for an interesting motor for the winter.
But, despite its forced induction, the quoted output figures are 177 BHP, which clearly isn't nearly enough in PH terms.
My current NA '06 Legacy has 170ish so what is going on?
