Hi Guys,

I have a 97 Micra 1300GX unfortunately it has a noisy clutch thrust bearing, the car itself is or will be up for sale soon, i know its not worth much, however is it a relatively easy job to do?whats involved?or is it worth me doing the bearing at all? as i know it will devalue the car considerably with it noisy.

Straightforward FWD gearbox in and out job. Clutch kit around £60 and some gearbox oil should be all you need. Nissan Dealer will do it for around £300, independent probly £200 or so. Ten times easier on a ramp than on jacks/stands.
