What to buy next??

At the moment i have a the "Mona Lisa" from "Tokyo Drift" for sale on here and when i have sold it i want to get somthing intresting but it has to be a four-door due to the fact i have a baby on the way, yeah i know there is stuff like evo's an scooby's but i just don't know what to go for, any help would be great!! Thanks everyone!!
With a baby on the way a NewAge WRX Estate from MY03-MY05 would do the trick.
Not a lot of money right now and not too big on the outside either so easy for parking in town/multi-storey. Plenty of room for the baby buggy and shopping in the back, ISOFix for the baby seat, supersafe and reliable, moves and handles really well, mechanically solidly built, 225bhp for a sub 6sec 0-60 and on to 145mph through a symmetrical 4X4 system (50:50 F/R split with LSD on rear and Open Diff up front) making quick and sure footed progress down B roads, and leggy 5th for Motorway cruising. Should return c.20-25mpg from an average mix of around town and long runs, c.6-7mpg on a trackday. Just change the twin pipe muffler for a single exit Hayward and Scott or Miltek backbox for that lovely deep burble to send the baby to sleep on a run.
Not the prettiest car around and not the most inspiring interior, great front seats though, very supportive and hold you in place, but you don't buy scoobs because they're pretty. They are however great performers with proper Q-Car status and they do what it says on the tin....all day long, everyday!! HTH

well i would keep the silvia but there is no sound proofing, no back seats and a roll cage so i can't get a baby in there i did think about getting a custom mounting rack made for a baby seat but on the whole the car isn't really that baby friendly, but i do like the idea of the scooby estate i have had a look at them and they are rather nice 
just need to sell my car first.

Why do you need a 4 door?I know someone who used to ferry his baby daughter around in a Lotus Elise. His wife would sit on the boot.
I'm a month in to owning a 2005 WRX SL (so leather and sun roof) with PPP. Great car - and practical - but quite thirsty.
When my kids were babies/toddlers I actually found two doors OK, and in some ways better - think holding a child at arms length and stretching to put him/her in a car seat: with a two door your have your bum inside the car and you're reaching out the way you're facing (backwards) . . . with a four door you're reaching out sideways which IMHO is more difficult.

Do you know any other recent-parents (IYSWIM)? THinking more to get an idea of what criteria your car must have, and what's optional-but-nice-to-have...
A couple of sets of friends of ours have recently had kids, and the amount of kit they cart around is quite scary. So a decent boot is a must, as is a decent aperture for said boot (my DC2, despite being very practical, will probably be relegated to a very-occasional family car when we finally get around to having a sprog).
To whit, a few suggestions, depending on budget:-
- Legacy Spec-B
- Forester STi
- Accord Type R
- FD2 Civic Type R
- Galant VR4
...or you could move away from Jap metal and consider:-
- Focus ST
- 3-series Touring (don't knock 'em...)
- Golf GTi MkV
- VXR-8
