What jap motor????

Ok in the next few months i'll be looking at getting a car for a bit of fun

Stuck between these 4

EVO 6-8
Impreza STI (twin scroll Turbo)
Nissan 350z
Honda Integra Type R

I had a heavely modded EVO 8 for 3 years (400+bhp) and loved every minute of it, then sold it last april and bought a E46 M3 and what a mistake that was!
Anyway sold the M3 in december and have been sharing the wifes car with her (Focus ST2) but now wanting to get back with the jap cars!
I work on an oil rig and work on a 2 on 3 off rotation the fcar would soley be used for fast road a bit of fun really after 2 weeks work!!
I know all about EVO's and a little about scoobys but not much about the 350z and the intecra, any comments welcomed!!

out of those two it'd have to be the evo or the scooby really for a bit of fun. The 350's are nice but dull, and the integra is great but not as fun as the other two.

Evo 8 for me.

Step 2) Decide which you like best
Step 3) Buy a car

ETA: Look for a Spec-C Impreza to try as well as a regular STi, much more focussed.

Have driven various EVO. Know them inside out! lol
Have driven a few Scoobys had a classic a few yaers back, never driven the spec C though, but aint they a bit expensive???

No idea what Spec-Cs are worth in the UK but in NZ they're usually in the same ballpark as Evo 7/8.

its not jap, but you might want to consider a VX220 turbo if this is just a fun car and you already have use of a practical hatch. should be about teh same price as an evo 8, too?

never really thought about a VX220 TBH, what are they like?? As I know nothing about them!!

Its a Lotus Elise with a Vauxhall two litre turbo engine. Chip and exhaust and you have a 265bp 900kg car. As you have done the 400bhp Evo thing before, wont a standard evo make you itch to spend on mods?

I will mod whatever car I buy mate!! thats why im heading to the JDM scooby or an EVO, or maybe even a 350z. but need to do a bit of research first!

Loved the Sti.......love the Teg even more
