Hi Guys,

A quick PH search on insurance hasn't brought up any definitive answers, so please can I have some advice.

I've got a 2007 Impreza WRX (Euro Import - UK Spec) fitted with a PPP pack. I've got 10 yrs no claims, no points and no conviction and the cars garaged in a good area but i'm still getting renewal quotes of around a GRAND. rage

SO, what's the consensus on PH..... who should I be calling for the best quotes - there must be some specialists i'm forgetting????

Please help.

Regards,

Craig

Keith Michaels, ask for Gary Moulson. 02086427868

Subaru Insured - 0870 770 6220

Rob at A-Plan - 01635 874646

Should be able to yield a few quotes. Quite hard to get through to Gary initially but keep on trying.

Definately go to Gary Moulson at KM. He's a fellow scooby owner himself and he gets fellow scooby owners the best quotes!! Very nice chap too!!

Just to give you all an update....

Just called Gary at KM and he saved me several hundred pounds straight away.... Easy to talk to and a decent chap. Talked me through the policy and said he could get the price down further but the policy offered good cover for any mods and covered trackdays etc, so I went for it.

Highly recommended! angel

Adrian Flux have given me good quotes before for performance cars.

I do remember getting a great quote from Tesco's on a P1 a good few years ago.

Comments on the above Companies :

KM, very good customer service, and very cheap for the scooby, but now moved to Adrian Flux as even cheaper.
Have used Tesco in the past as they were very cheap for my imported MX5.

Fell out recently with privilige after they wanted me to fit an alarm (in addition to the manufacturers one) AND a tracker to my 20 year old range rover, then got stroppy about covering it at all as they "dont insure modified vehicals" and it runs on LPG, even though I made this clear to them before taking the policy out.

In summary, you wont go far wrong with KM or Adrian Flux (I have been a customer of both for several years).

I cannot comment on making a claim from any of the above, as I have not done it (touching wood).
