Wow. Just wow.
Picked it up yesterday, officially the first of the UK cars (but not really), and still running it in, but it's absolutely amazing. Completely different level from previous GT-Rs.
It's in Evo's Fast Fleet starting from the current issue (130) with an intro piece about the Race Academy event at the Nurburgring.

Only driven it the 250 miles down from St Helens and still running it in, but it is bl00dy impressive.
Using full Auto mode on the gearbox so it changes up at 3,500rpm as recommended for running-in and Comfort mode on the shocks which is still very, very firm indeed.
Did some cornering shots for Evo and for the first time, the abhorrent old cliche of "corners on rails" is absolutely true.
Feels a lot smaller and lighter than it is, but very solid and controlled.
Tiny rear legroom though; tomorrow I'll find out if my 3.5 year old daughter will fit in the back. Certainly no adult will!
Here's a shot compared with the R32 which I got a lift up in with three adults seated comfortably.
Here it is at home, sharing garage space with my Z06. Makes it look like it was built to a different scale!

The technology is as if Captain Kirk sneaked some 23rd century tech back through a time warp!

I haven't driven a DBS yet, but I can't imagine it can ever be as stiff a ride as the GT-R.
It's the hardest riding car I've owned, certainly harder than a Corvette Z06 that was renown for having a fairly hard ride.
In Comfort mode, the GT-R is firmer than my F430 in Race mode.
However, it is extremely well controlled.
Of course, over time I expect the shocks will wear in a fair bit. The running-in instructions even say to put the suspension in Comfort mode to allow maximum shock travel to wear them in.
All the dealers are receiving their demonstrators now, so book yourself a test drive before committing.
The seats are pretty comfortable with a lot of (non-adjustable) lumbar support and the driving position can be made 100% spot on with a steering wheel with reach and rake adjustment.
