hey yall, i just bought a subaru impreza wrx 93, and it didnt come with any manual or paper work etc etc, how do i figure out if its a jap spec or a uk car? also i was wondering how i get it to go over 120mph because at about 119 it just cuts the motor right off. i dont know if thats an ecu fix or i can get a chip for it? im really new at these cars im usually into american muscle cars but i gotta get what i get while im over here. and help would b apreciated thanx

Sound's to me that you have a jap import if it cuts out at 120.
You need to get it de-limited.
If it is an import, you more than likely won't get any papers with the vehicle.

As you're abroad I can't offer any immediate help but I'd use google to find a good local import house and let them look at it.

Easiest way I know of doing it is wee gizmo called a Pivot Speedmeter., though it may be different for you lot in the UK having to convert to mph as well.
