Low mileage Sport value?

Hi, I have been offered a low mileage 99 2.0 Sport saloon. Unmodified, 1 owner nearly all of its life. The problem is, what is it worth? The mileage is almost 3,000, yes 3 thousand miles only!

You're missing the point - first we have to guess the car, then we guess the value.
I'm going for a Impreza 2.0 non turbo.
Probably worth about 2-2.5K?

Oh I forgot to mention Subaru! I was thinking that it was the Subaru section, not shared. It has been a while since I posted in here and now I am losing my faculties!
Anyway, the car is an Impreza Sport 2.0 4 door. Dark blue metallic with cloth trim. Under 3000 miles. I was thinking of using it for my work car or would it be better going to a collector. There again is it collectable as it is not a turbo or special edition?

Not worth mush IMO, I'd aviod it.....

It's been said already so I'll just back him up - thirsty and there are better places to spend your money if you are looking for a work-mobile.

Probably not collectable no - but despite being a bit on the slow side they're a nice drive, very reliable and pretty much idiot-proof in slippery conditions. If its cheap and you like driving it then go for it.
