Sounds about right, all I'll say is make sure it has a full Mazda service history and the perforation(rust)warrenty fully stamped as well. Could check to see if recalls have been done but Mazda will do them for you. They are a great drive albeit thirsty motors, don't listen to the scare mongers check the club out

ETA check out the FAQ on the owners forum, also when checking the oil a little white foamy deposit on the dip stick is normal at times. Not on the filler cap!

That seems a very good price, and its the 231 if I'm not mistaken.
I'm no expert on RX8's but ensure you check the usual's e.g. even tyre wear and good tread depth, HPi Clear is a necessity, check all the electrics, check exterior for signs of poor repair .etc.
Take a look at this guide, however it says "The RX-8 is the most expensive motor to run this year, which ruins an otherwise excellent set of results" So though it may be a good price, running costs are much higher than average. But if you feel the car is right for you though try not to get put off by this.

Good luck!

Some RX8s were the subject of recalls from Mazda, for things to do with suspension IIRC. You can find a list of recalled cars on www.theaa.com/allaboutcars/recalls/index.jsp . Make sure that any recall / warranty work which may have been required has been done if you are looking at an affected car.
