Hi, is there anyone who can give me any advice on buying & owning a Celica GT4 ST185.
What are they like to live with? If i go ahead & buy one it will be used as a 2nd car with a view to taking it to the Nurburgring next year aswell as the odd trip to santa pod.

Just replied to you on the GT4OC, there's a 185 that would be well worth you checking out on there.

Having owned a St185 I am not a fan of them.
They are quite old cars these days and a lot of the engines if not modified will be down on a lot on power.
I felt that they were very sluggish and unresponsive.

The ST205 I owned however was a big improvement. Much more lively but still not too great on handling until you modify the camber and add an anti-roll bar to the back.

Then when I got my EVO6 I realised how sluggish the St205 felt. ;-)

If you're set on a GT4 then the ST205 is not a bad car at all.... but I would not reccommend a ST185 to anyone.
