WHEN EVER I PUT MY HEATED REAR WINDOW ON, THE HEATER COMES ON. I HAVE AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING SET UP IN THE CAR.IS THIS NORMAL?

Sorry if this is patronising, but are you sure you're pressing the right button and not the Demist button.

suspicion raised by the inability to notice that caps lock is on?

If you have the AC turned off and then hit the Rear Demist then, yes the AC does turn on with it.
