I take it you didn't get the bill itemised to see if that difference tallies with (perhaps) discs or pads or something else he didn't originally account for?

Did you push further for a better explanation, as it is a bit late to expect anything now?

As above, I would have thought £200 was cheap, but that would depend on the parts used.

Agree with the other posters that £200 including all parts and labour and VAT is very cheap. The final cost sounds about right.
