Just put the 18 inch wheels back on the G31 for winter...every year I am reminded just how much better the smaller tyre setup is better than the 20 inch option. Better ride, sweeter handling...less noise etc etc

Same here on swapping from 19 inch runflats to 18 inch non RF winter Goodyears , much more pleasant ride and better in the wet and cold.

As soon as we got our F31 I binned the 19s and fitted 18s and the cars stayed on them since Jan 2023 - it's on 18x8 alloys all round with Goodyear Vector Gen3 all seasons (as is my E39 540i Sport - albeit on 17s) and they're more than adequate for the UK winter, but also for the smooth driving and comfier driving etc

It's why I've kept the wife's X5 on 18s with all seasons (Michelin Cross Climate) rather than faff about with the 20s.
