320i head gasket

Hi, does anybody have any recommendations ( other than the main stealers) for head gasket replacement around Stoke on Trent area preferably. Cheers

What year is it, and what are the symptoms?

Thanks for replying. 68 plate.50k miles.After a good drive upto temperature ( not overheating though), quite a lot of white cloud from exhaust whilst standing at idle. Next door neighbour is a mechanic and bought home a sniff test to check. Gently and slowly released cap and lot of pressure in the expansion tank, and coolant bubbling up out of the tank so couldn t put the test kit on. So unsure at this point as to whether it s head gasket or not. Other thoughts are if the turbo is water cooled and is pressuring the coolant system. Also the oil is looking pretty bad even though it s less than 12 months old.Thanks again.

Just an update, we got the sniff test on the expansion tank and with revs at a steady 2,500 the blue fluid didn’t change to green so maybe not head gasket. My neighbour is thinking something to do with the water cooled turbo.
