Anyone on here have any knowledge on water getting into the boot and pooling in the wheel well? Mine is a non pan roof model so doesn't have the rear drainage tubes.

Hoping the modules will dry out in the airing cupboard and have ordered some new relays. Only had a fault with the rear suspension system module. Will relocate the modules to prevent this happening in the future.

Would like to figure out where the water is coming in from but everywhere else looks reasonably dry, so I'm a bit stumped! Battery compartment is dry also.

- Rear light seals
- Vents that lead into the boot at the sides; under the bumper sides
- Failed boot seal

That's usually the culprits on tourings with no sunroof

Sorry, a bit late to this thread

My e61 non sunroof was leaking water before Xmas

It was entering the wheel well through a seam in 2 panels

The car was written off not long after so I never properly diagnosed it.

But my feeling was it was the antenna seal, because I used a watering can to poir water round the lights and didn't see any come out, whereas when I poured higher up, it did.

(Though it might have just taken a minute or two to creep down inside the car...)

It fried my parking module and relays so I had replaced them all just before the car got hit.
