Whats everyone monthly cost on fuel for their X5?

We paid £120 which gave me 551miles and it only lasted a week!

Is this the norm?

My 30d averages 600 miles to a tank. 55 litre tank @ £1.85 = £101ish I think. I get through 3 tanks a month, so you do the math.

We have a 2016 X5 30d (66 plate). Average over the last couple of years/20k miles is 31.7mpg.
Short school runs / local trips etc = 25mpg or less
Long runs at 75mph or less = 35-38mpg
Long runs on the continent with a roof box = not so good!

Wonderful car though!

I make that 36 MPG (based on average price of £1.75/l this week) which sounds totally reasonable for a 2+ ton car.

I do around 1,500 miles per month in my F15 40d at around 32mpg, which is around £350 per month with current diesel prices £1.80 per litre currently in my area

Which model do you have? F15 diesels have an 85 litre tank

No, most people don't drive that far each week. I did in the past, but the company car/fuel card took care of those issues.

UK average is just 7500 miles per annum.
