Motorcycle Mechanic - Beds/Herts

Good morning fellow bikers,

I’m looking for a reliable and trustworthy independent bike garage close to Hitchin/Letchworth.

I’ve a 2007 Yamaha FZ6 that needs a full service and maintenance ahead of Spring 25!

Lots of garages nearby, but I've no experience with any of them.

Please let me know your recommendations.

Bikers Realm in Welwyn have a good reputation. I've only used them for MOTs and tyres though personally

Are Del Basso’s still in Hitchin? They used to have a small workshop in Bucklesbury in the town centre

One of my Hemel based mates uses Raceways in Stevenage Old Town. Has used them for years to look after a succession of sportsbikes he's owned - SP2, R1, GSXR 1000 and now a ZX10. Its run by a guy called Steve Hutchins.

Bit more of a trek for you but I use Double O Motorcycles in Kempston. Sean the owner is a top bloke and likewise I've been using him for years.
