Decent Yamaha/independent workshop in North/West Kent?
Discussion
My Tracer 7's transmission feels for want of a better word "rough", with a whining noise, which I think is worse in some gears than others as well as some vibration.
I don't think it is the chain (relatively new, well lubricated and I've tried varying the chain adjustment), I hope it is the rear sprocket carrier bearing, but I have a nasty suspicion it's a gearbox shaft bearing.
I've had a couple of mediocre experiences with workshops over the years and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for places they'd trust to do an engine drop, cases split and fit replacement parts? The bike's out of warranty, so preference for good over a franchised dealer necessarily.

I've used Fast Lane in Tonbridge for the past 6 years. Bought and sold bikes with them, plus servicing, repairs, track prep.I don't think it is the chain (relatively new, well lubricated and I've tried varying the chain adjustment), I hope it is the rear sprocket carrier bearing, but I have a nasty suspicion it's a gearbox shaft bearing.
