It’s January, I don’t ride in winter, it’s too cold, dark, wet, and slippy for my liking. Oooooo boy did that set some off a month or so back.

Anyway, I still miss bikes, so constantly scanning the adverts to see what’s up for grabs. Saw one just before Christmas, the bike that’s ticked a hell of a lot of boxes for me, but I’ve always found a reason not to buy one. I’m too old and fat to get on a sportsbike, but I miss the rush from the power and the engine of one. So a nice 2 year old M1000R seems just about perfect. A claimed 207bhp in a naked bike. What can possibly go wrong hehe

Yes, yes I know someone is going to mention they’re a bit vibey, but I don’t care. Can’t wait for the sunny months to arrive when I can go and be a bellend weekend warrior again.

Happy new bike day to me.

Here’s some terrible photos taken in the showroom

Aye what is it, 15°C? That's nearly height of summer here!

Ballistic engine, cracking brakes, enjoy!
