Blimey, what a day! How many red flags, 7? 8? I lost count!

I was on the first 'corner'. Actually the 3rd camera around the circuit, just before the new chicane which caused all the problems. That needs removing for the bikes, its just stupid.

Some cracking racing though, those chicken chaser 125cc bikes early in the day were bloody great.

We'll be at knickerbrook, coming in through Shaws ...

There were 50+ bikes on the floor at Mallory, the worst we had seen in 15 yrs ....

The Edwina chicane did not cause those problems last year, it was put in too slow them down through the kink up to the Devils Elbow and I for one believe they should keep it.

I have seen 2 big crashes at that point and both were very lucky not too be very seriously injured, it has claimed the lives of a few bikers and that was why the decision was taken.

Our gut feeling is that Mallory is normally later in the season and people have settled down a little bit, however, it was 3 months and 4 rounds or so earlier this year and we reckon people were just a little to excited ...

I've filmed from the outside of Knickerbrook a few times, so I might be there Hopefully they'll put me on the inside of that chicane though, as its a better shot.

Just got home .... great days racing, even the R6 cup was worthwhile !!
