Good Machinist Required
Discussion
Does anyone know of a good machinist in the Surrey area who could fix this?
It's my Fireblade's OE end can, nicely chamfered on its leading edge. I reckon it's as easy as this:
- drill out rivets
- remove aluminium end piece
- make a new one
- rivet it back onto the sleeve of the end can.
Okay, there's some damage underneath the aluminium bit but that will be hidden by the new piece. And I can live with the scratches.
