The club didn't apply for any dates for racing at the weekend conference.

There have a been a few rumours regarding financial difficulties for a few weeks now and I'm not sure if applications for dates can be put in at a later date or not but as it stands at the moment the Ulster GP will not be going ahead next year.

Oh god I hope so.
I kept meaning to go to the Ulster but life kept getting in the way, and then it was gone.

Heard it all before haven't we.

Wasnt it just last year, or the year before, they announced it would be back, only for it to fall at the first hurdle again?

If they can make it work though, I'll go.

I saw a quote from Peter Hickman on Facebook saying the organisers still owed a lot of people (including but not limited to him) money from the running of the last edition. This will only add to the financial pressures - myself I think this one's gone.

I won't told my breath but really hope it does return, was a great event on a great circuit.

Re Hickman and others being owed money AFAIK it was run by the Dundrod club but according to the press release i read it was going to be run by the MCUI with some government money so i would imagine they will say its got nothing to do with them ?
