Triumph Bench Seat Question
Discussion
Hello all,
I’m wondering if anyone could shed some light on a seat i keep contemplating.
I’m interested in getting the triumph OEM bench seat for my street twin 900 (2019 if that makes a difference) but have read mixed reviews.
Hoping someone will be able to give their thoughts on the matter

I have a 2017 street twin 900 with the Triumph bench seat and I prefer it altho it will split opinion.
Bench seat is flat so it doesn't , erm, cup your behind the way the standard seat does. This suits me as it makes it easier to move around on the seat when going longer distance etc. Also when i occasionally switch seats (see below) the OEM gives me a bit of back pain as I feel like I am sat in one position too much
It increases the seat height a bit (from 790 to maybe 800?) but that is negligible.
The only negatives?
It took a while to get used to how flat it was. The sides of the seat are a little hard and can cause a lille pain as they dig in a bit, but this only lasted a few rides.
It is a stitched leather seat and when it rains the water gets thru the stich holes into the foam underneath. If it is properly raining I will switch back to my OEM seat.
