Which free app is the best for lap timing?

I have an old phone I can use but don’t want to put a sim in it and don’t want to pay.

There must be an app I can use.

Yep, Race Chrono.

Buy a 10Hz GPS sensor as well, much more accurate.

The Pro version lets you easily import your GoPro footage into the app, time align it with your GPS data and displays speed and position on track.

Add an OBD scanner as well and you can include CAN data onto the overlay also (if your vehicle has that available).

Amazing app imho.
