Temp Gauge Question?

[10 CYL]

My 97 GTS Temp gauge under normal operating conditions
reads either just over 90 degrees, or creeps past the mid points and goes to the 3/4 position and back down is this normal?

No loss of a/freeze/water and heater works fine.
