Can any of you folks out there keen on detailing advise the best way of polishing the Plenum on the Chim. Insitu, or remove and have coated. That kinda thing.

I'm thinking of doing mine too, so tips would be useful. Any good polishers in Glous/Worcs?

If you're wire brushing it, make sure you use a stainless brush. This comes up fairly nicely. Alternatively you can polish it properly with a mop. Either way you'll be limited by the roughness of the original casting unless you clean it up first.

you mean like this?

I bought 3 flapper wheels ( grade 80 160 and 320) and a polishing kit. 3 days later and a burnt out drill Id finished. Cost £30 for the polish and flappers, inc post from the polishing shop 01543505771
