Brake replacement help

Hi,
I want to overhaul the brakes on my 450 - no upgrade, just get them working as the factory designed.
The discs are badly deformed, I get wobbly steering and lurching under braking.

I have been quoted £108 per pair, from TVR for "AJ" or "AP" types?!

Local motor factor supplies EDC types for around £70 per pair - but I need to tell them what "hub size" I have so they can tell which ones to order

Anyone found a cheaper / better source?

I have Green pads fitted at the moment but these seem to need warming before they brake well - great for trackdays but not for everyday when you have to make an emergency stop but haven't had time to warm them!
I like the low dust factor though. Any advice?

Buy the closest thing you can find (Ford something probably) from Halfords, take them home, open the box carefully, and see if they fit. When they do, box them up again, take them back and get a full refund (unless you want Halford ones). Then go to the factor or whoever and get exactly the disc you want from the manufacturer you want. There should be an if then else loop in there somewhere - I'm sure you'll work it out.
