Can anyone please reccomend someone in the Herfordshire area? I shall be using a main dealer for all the servising to keep the logbook going but I need some work doing on the central locking / alarm. See 'Help Please' thread.)

For electrical bits on my Chimaera I take it to an Cherrys Auto Electrical in Potters Bar, his name is Mel Cherry tel [phone]. On my car he sorted a dodgy interior light and a dodgy window switch. When I had alarm trouble he was great and spent ages checking it, but had to give up in the end as Meta units can only be fixed by Meta!
He might be worth a call if only to get his opinion on if he thinks he can help sort your problem, he is a nice old-school kind of guy!

Bangers - No harm checking the independants for service requirements. If you use a reptuable technician i.e not from your local Ford garage, then you should not see any noticable damage to the reputation of your motor.
