help!! door lock

oh dear..can anyone help please... the passenger side door wont lock! when i press the keyfob the doors make a locking sound and the drivers side locks, but when i go to open the pass. door..its still opens..arrragh..please help..

If it's anything like the Chimaera, the wiring gubbins is behind a velcro panel behind & left of the passenger seat. Also check that the interior light goes off when you shut the passenger door after the appropriate no of seconds - check that the light striker switch is being depressed enough (try taping this with a piece of masking tape to test it)

Is there a clunk sound from the passenger side as well as the drivers side when you lock and unlock the doors? You may have to put your ear right next to the lock to hear. If not, I'd suspect a dodgy solenoid!

I've got the opposite problem on my Griff. When you hit the security 'lock doors from the inside' button, the drivers door will not open again until the passenger door has been opened!

Just thought I'd share that with you....

Thanks for the advice....didnt get much sleep last night..
But ive dropped it off this morning to be done...
