Mines never had either of these, first photo shows a long shot 2nd a zoom. Can anyone tell me where they go and what shape they should be and should I be worried they are missing. They look like they are riveted in place too any ideas?

You can just make it out, clearly torn off and it's the same both sides.

From what I can make out, they are just 'try and keep the water out' flaps, if is not leaking from there I wouldn't worry about it

No, my Griff's the same. I think it's deliberately cut like that to help it to hinge. Try imagining it complete (uncut), then see what happens as you raise the targa bit.

Or have I missed the point?

It's the thin vertical bit of rubber, not the round bit.

It's meant to extend down as far as the round section at the leading edge, and extend diagonally upward towards the rear of the car. Essentially, it's a post-factory-fit bodge to close one of the holes that would ordinarily be there.

I'll take some pictures of mine next time I get a mo so you can compare.

OK, I missed the point! I'll have a look at Griff at the weekend and see how that's done, as the mechanisms are the same. I'm also getting a digital camera on Monday, so I can post a pic - but how the heck do you get a pic in your posts? Please advise!

Thanks chaps - pics would be good. However, if you wouldn't mind posting them to my mail address in my profile I would be most grateful. I'm not going to be here much for the foreseeable future you see.

Thanks Again.
