front grill removal.
Discussion
I assume it's the older style grille, since there is no grille to remove on the newer model. You need to remove the rubber seal which the metal mesh it slotted into - rather than just trying to pull out the mesh. It should come out quite easily unless it's glued in.

Get a flat bladed item, butter knife is good, wrap in masking tape to prevent scratches, place between grill and seal, and work it around, start at the break in the seal (top centre) if its really stiff try using 2 levers, once you've got one side free it will slide out, and if you think getting it out is hard wait untill you try to get it back in! :refittingisreverseofremoval:
Start at one end only, ease the lip of the rubber surround open, and gently lever in a small wooden/plastic type spatula ( ice lolipop is ideal), then slowly and gentle run this round the rubber surround gently easeing out the grill, once you have one end pout the grill comes out quickly. Two pieces of wood make this easier, especially if you can leave one in whilist you move the other around.
to put is back slip the grill into the bottom and one end first, then starting at that end run the wood around gently easing out the rubber seal and pressing the grill in, should take no more than 5 mins once you have the knack.
