Where does this bit go?

Nope, I've not a clue. Reinforcement for something bolted to the fiberglass, like a backing plate for steering column or something? Someone will be along to educate us soon

Ah I didn't think of a spacer, I only did my engine mounts a month ago too. I'm crap at pub quizzes as well

Initially agreed with this but on comparison to an engine mount spacer I had lying round (see below) it's different. Still looks a spacer though!

I just so happen to have my car apart.

Here is my gearbox spacer.



Size is 110 x 50mm.

Obviously the spark plug isn't part of the set up, it is just holding the plate up from the gearbox bracket.
