So I opted for a 15 quid Astra unit. Not a straight fit but its now in and working fine

fan was too big so used original, which luckily came off without breaking.

Astra motor is larger diameter so the mounting had to be hacked about carefully modified a bit!

unfortunately I got rather engrossed and forgot about taking photo's
