With Spring around the corner I am spending time and money making my Chim beautiful again. It has magnolia leather and ruby carpets. The carpets are in good condition but have faded a bit (my wife takes great pleasure in calling them pink!!).

Is there any magic stuff you can put on the carpets to bring out the original colour?

Ah-ha! I asked this exact question a few weeks ago, although my carpets are blue.
Get yourself some suede renovator, any shoe shop should sell it at about 3 quid a tin.
The colour match on mine was pretty close and you just do what it says on the tin. 2 coats and the carpet looks brand new, just be sure to mask the areas where the carpet meets trim.

Renovo's roof fabric restorer seems to work OK, but is available in limited colours. Suede restorer sounds like a better soultion

I tried suede restorer at the weekend. My blue carpets had been sun-faded and have gone green in patches.

I bought a can of blue spray for 3 quid from a shoe shop.

I did a test on the footwell mat. With a few coats it looks good, not 100% but nearly there - cheaper and quicker than a retrim anyway.

Thanks for the tip.
